Even though a small geographical entity, Kerala is known for its many food specialities. The people here enjoy fish and rice, and consume more or less the same types of food throughout the region. Known for one of the healthiest breakfasts Appam and Vegetable Stew in the world, the ethnic food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian are predominantly spice rich.
It is worth trying the regional variations, especially in the southern part, central and north Kerala. This is a place well known for its traditional meal called Sadya a complete and rich traditional vegetarian meal, as well seafood delicacies, especially that of the Malabar region.
